Master in Information Technology Management, as well as Master in Information Science and Knowledge Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM). His research interests are focused on the development of technological strategies for education, educational innovation, knowledge management and the open educational movement. He is the National Director of the Libraries of Tecnológico de Monterrey, member of the UNESCO Chair: "Open Education Movement for Latin America"; as well as member of the Board of the Regional Node of Open Education for Latin America - OE LATAM - sponsored by the Global Education Consortium OEGLOBAL.
