PhD in Engineering Sciences, he is a Mechatronics Engineer and Master of Science in Automation and Control Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, Mexico. He also holds a Master's degree in Control Systems and Information Technologies from the Université Joseph Fourier de Grenoble, France. He is currently part of the cyber-physical systems group at Tecnológico de Monterrey and a member of the Mexican National Research Council. SNI-I system. His main research interests are optimal and robust control, process identification and design of control structures in crude oil distillation columns.
